The Commercial Division of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Chicago is an overseas branch of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), Taiwan R.O.C. The Division’s service area covers ten states in the US Midwest , including Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska.

The major functions of the Division are to promote economic relationships between Taiwan and the Midwestern Part of the US, to enhance bilateral investment and technology cooperation, to assist Taiwan’s companies in marketing, and to remain contacts with the US Midwest companies from Taiwan.
